Bro. Alan Russell is married to Allison Russell and they have two daughters: Hannah Russell Smith and Mallory Russell Gibson. They have a two sons-in-law, Dusty Smith and Gentry Gipson. They have two grandsons: Bo Miles Smith and Hutton Smith.
Alan was saved when he was 6 years old at Glenfield Baptist Church.
His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4: 13 which states: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
His favorite Bible character is Paul because he went from being the worst of sinners to the best of Christians. Bro. Alan states that God can use anyone to do His work.
